The Gut-Brain Connection, How to Maintain Mental Health from a Nutritional and Herbal Perspective with Geena Barker & Ingrid Abbate

This workshop will include details on what nutrients our brains and bodies need to be happy and healthy and how to acquire those nutrients. The class will include information on addressing mental health through diet as well as herbal remedies. We will address topics ranging from general mood management to schizophrenia and autism. There will be a lecture portion as hands on activities including making a take-home herbal concoction. The purpose of this workshop is for people to walk away with a better understanding of how their brains and bodies functions so that they can have a fuller image of mental health and it’s intricacies and apply that knowledge to practicing holistic self-care with themselves and their loved ones.
