Monday-Thursday artists create, interact and enjoy an artist residency at the beach. This person is responsible for providing all information and communicating all details within your collective. You will be charged per accommodation.Collectives: please list all participating artists.NextWeekend Schedule The public portion of Arts Week features performances, installations, and studio tours. The events typically run from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, and 11-2 on Sunday. Performances: Performances and live music will take place at the location and time/s listed in the program. Installations will be open to the public during 12pm-10pm on Saturday. You may choose to host your installation, allowing visitors to interact with you and ask questions, though this is not required. Studio tours will be open to the public 12pm – 5pm on Saturday. You will set up your space so that visitors can view your art and process. You are welcome to hang out, but are not required to. You are welcome to sell your work during public hours. We ask for 10% of all sales to be donated to The Chinook Nation. Arts Week’s public events connect the community with both the art and the artists’ creative processes. Share your practice, inspirations, and journey to deepen the community’s appreciation of your art. In alignment with our commitment to racial justice, we are offering selected BIPOC artists a $50 discount on our standard Arts Week accommodation rate. Timeline Arts Week is March 9th – 15th 2025 Applications open December 4th Applications close January 10th All artists will be notified by January 27th 2025 Selected artists will receive an Arts Week agreement, due February 3, along with a request for a bio and promotional materials.
