Ceramics Studio Add-on Questionnaire Posted on Mon, November 25 Please enable JavaScript in your browser to complete this form. come do a ILWACO ARTWORKS COMMUNITY CLAY STUDIO Our ceramics add-on option is available for artists who wish to work with clay during their artist residency. This add-on is specifically designed for experienced ceramic artists focusing solely on ceramics, as the studio is not equipped for multimedia projects. Ilwaco Artworks operates as a community ceramics space, so you will be working alongside other artists, students and members. The fee includes access to the studio, equipment, tools, and glazes for the duration of your residency week. Clay must be purchased separately, or you can bring your own cone 6 clay with prior approval from our studio manager. To inquire about bringing your own clay or glazes, please email Hans at ilwacoartworks@gmail.com. To maintain a welcoming and functional environment for everyone, all artists are expected to thoroughly clean any tools, equipment, and workspaces they use during their time in the studio. During your residency, you will have a dedicated storage shelf and access to: The Studio during open studio hours Basic tools Aprons Pottery wheels Slab roller Wedging table Glazes Firing Options: Leave your work with us for bisque firing. You can arrange to pick it up later or have it shipped (shipping costs + $15 handling fee). If you’d like us to clear glaze and fire your work to cone 6 consult with the studio manager for pricing. Alternatively, you can take your work home as greenware. If transporting greenware, please bring a wet box. How do you intend to finish your project?
