In this coed retreat, we will explore and practice strengthening and flexibility through deep stretches, yoga inspired circuit training exercises, meditation, dance, sharing and journaling. A time to reset and practice with our bodies, minds and souls. Join in the experience of honoring our inner strength and ability to surrender on and off the mat.

Dawn Sorenson began her yoga journey over ten years ago. Diagnosed with an incurable, limiting bone disease, she slowly became detached from her body with each break. When she discovered yoga, it was out of sustainability and necessity. Through this healing practice Dawn regained a sense of her body and learned to love her temple again. Restorative yoga became a foundation to release old, deep, tension and trauma. Dawn continues to study and implement the healing modalities of Meditation, Epigenetics, Thai Massage, Shamanic Journeying, Quantum Physics, Neuroscience, the Law of Attraction, and Astrology. In 2016 she received her  500-hour RYT in Rishikesh, India.

Sunday: 6-8pm

  • Intros and briefing of days to come
  • Yin Yoga practice

Monday & Tuesday: 6:30-8:30am

6:30am Meditation or Walk

7am Herbal tea

7:30am Yoga, active practice (yang)

9 am Breakfast & Free Time

11 am Journal Writing and Artistic Expression 

12 pm Lunch & Free Time 

3pm Theory and Discussion of Yogic Practices

4pm Circuit Training Exercises

4:45pm Yoga, passive practice (yin)

5:30 pm Dinner & Free Time

7 pm Circle Time/Sharing 

8 pm Dance and Meditation

Wesnesday 9-11am

  • Morning Meditation
  • Herbal Tea
  • Yoga, active practice (yang)
  • Gratitude and Farewells

BEGINS: Sunday at 6pm

ENDS: Wednesday at 11am

COST: $250, plus lodging ($200 deposit reserves your space and is credited towards your total)

BRING: A yoga mat (if you have one), journal, pen, meditation pillow if desired, and a blanket or shawl for warmth

4 student minimum, 12 students max
