The Washington Coast is known for its variable yet temperate weather, no matter the season, so it’s best to pack layers:

  1. Layers: A waterproof jacket, a sweater, and comfy clothes for hiking and beach walks.
  2. Footwear: Waterproof boots for trails and sandals for the beach.
  3. Essentials: Sunglasses & sunscreen (you’ll need them even on overcast days).

With these basics, you’ll be set for exploring the evergreen coast rain or shine! Check the 10-day forcast here.

ON-SITE FAQS

Many of our trailers have adjacent parking. Please see our grounds map. We have our West-end parking lot and East-end parking lot. Please only park in designated spots. You may park near your unit to unload before parking your vehicle.

We do not currently have an EV charging station on-site.

You may request it at the front desk or via the text conversation the front desk opened the day of your arrival. Early/late check ins/outs subject to availability.

We do not have a kitchen but we have a stocked front-porch market for snacks, treats and simple meals. Check out our local restaurant directory for our nearby recommendations.

We provide designated fire rings for our vintage trailers and a few communal ones in our central trailer court. Please do not move the fire rings or start fires in the grass. The beach is open most of the year for fires as well. Beach campfires must be smaller than 4 feet on each side and 3 feet in height. Campfires must be 100 feet west of the dune line. Fires and barbecues are not allowed in the flammable dune grass area. Do not build a fire if it is windy.

No smoking in or within 15 feet of any accommodation. The stone fireplace to the north east of the lodge is a good out of the way spot as is the picnic table to the west of the bike shed (as long as no other guests are using it at the time). Or take a lovely walk towards the beach!

Meet Mr. Meatball, our boss. He lives where he wants (though he does have his own space). You are welcome to invite him in unless you are staying in the lodge. Or just tell him to move along. Meatball merch coming soon to our Front Porch Market. Please do not feed him. He is well fed but begs like a dog.

Due to the natural landscape and the historic nature of our vintage trailers, cabins, and suites, mobility accommodations meeting ADA standards are not available. All accommodations have narrow doors and steps, and the gravel roads and paths are not wheelchair-accessible. However, we are committed to assisting guests with accessibility needs and will do our best to accommodate your requests. Please reach out to discuss how we can support you during your stay.
