Moon By You
May 30 @ 8:00 pm

While embracing the psychedelic revival of the millennial generation, this 5 piece continues to honor 50’s and 60’s rock n’ roll.  The Moon By You sound is akin to a spaceship landing in a swamp while Elvis’ ghost croons from a cypress tree under a full moon.  Lead vocalist and front woman Sarah Kue guides her motley crew of band mates over desert landscapes and dream worlds.  Her partner, Tyler Verign, holds the rhythm section down as he has since Kue and himself started Moon By You in 2010.

Three For Silver
Jun 20 @ 8:00 pm

Three For Silver represents a curious hybrid of acoustic music.  The twin melodies of Willo Sertain’s vocals and Greg Allison’s violin glide atop of chugging polyrhythms of Lucas Warford’s homemade bass instruments and the idiosyncratic style in which they are played. Described by Baby Gramps as “The acid baby of Tom Waits ad Vicgtor Wooten”. Three For Silver combines a gritty aesthetic, world folk traditions, and virtuosic technique with a modern songwriting sense.

Catherine Feeny and Chris Johnedis
Jun 27 @ 8:00 pm

Catherine Feeny grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, part of a tight-knit family for whom music was a uniting force. Absorbing Springsteen through her older brother, Simon and Garfunkel through her parents and The Smiths through her elder sister, she early on developed a keen ear for songwriting, such as her song, “Carrier Pigeon.” “Chris and I played it together during pre-production for the album, and he started brushing on the snare in this distinctly wing-like fashion — he is not a lyrics guy, and he did not know I was singing about a bird,” Feeny says. “That is what it’s like playing with him — magic and intuition in a sweet, humble package.”music_catherinefeenychrisjohnedis.widea
